Obligation Date

The latest obligation date is the date that funding must be obtained and supported by a procurement action or validated billet. The date must allow for the timely execution of those funds so that the need or requirement can be met as planned. The date is determined by the IPM, as the requestor of said funds.

On the right is a document reflecting a UFR submitted through the Resource Allocation Management (RAM) module. The RAM is the primary tool for submitting, vetting and approving UFRs. The Unfunded Exhibit (OM-6) document accompanies and provides further support and justification to a RAM submission. Both documents are typically prepared at the Installation or Region business office.
