Prioritizing Capital Expenditures
While it may not be part of your local budget process to prepare a Capital Expenditure list, you should prepare one for your own planning purposes and be ready to take advantage of any mid-year or end-of-year funding that may become available.

Capital Expenditure is a non-expendable property with a unit acquisition value of $2500 or more and a life expectancy of two or more years.

NOTE: Check with your Supervisor on the local requirements for capital items as the requirements (dollar threshold) may be different.
